Taro Sakamoto was once the ultimate legendary hitman, feared by villains and respected by the underworld alike. However, he abruptly walked away from the assassin life after falling in love, getting married, and having a child. Now, Sakamoto runs a quiet neighborhood convenience store, having gained a bit of weight along the way. Despite his peaceful new routine and vow never to kill again, his past quickly catches up to him. Bounty hunters, former rivals, and criminal syndicates frequently target his family, forcing him to protect his loved ones using his formidable combat skills while keeping his true identity hidden from customers. Blending high-stakes action with deadpan domestic comedy, Sakamoto Days EN follows an extraordinary protagonist trying to maintain an ordinary life.
